Been using one of these for a couple of years, it was second hand when I took over a butty van business and already a couple years old at least. Cooks great can actually get too hot sometimes even with the burners on minimum, deceptively large grilling area and can easily handle up to 4 full English breakfast 8 sausage, 8 large bacon rashers, mushrooms tomatoes and black pudding. The front 4cm stays a little cooler to start eggs on then move them to the centre once the other food has been moved to the plates. Easy to keep clean. The juice hole has a tendency to catch fire when really busy as it is a little close to the right burner but this is because the aluminium juice funnel has been lost over time. It’s not really a commercial grill but handles pretty much everything I throw on it. If I ever needed to replace it, it would be hard not to buy the same one again, although I would like one a little bigger sometimes.

This thing is amazing! Planchas are all the rage in France at the moment and as such are very expensive, but we found this after seeing our friends in France with a similar thing. It’s brilliant! Great quality, easy to clean and you can still get a lovely char on your food. We do all sorts.on it, grilled veggies, kebabs, grilled sarnies. Basically anything that can go in a frying pan. Have recommend to lots of people!

It’s not bad for the price but the drain hole keeps dripping oil outside the oil collection tray and making a mess on the last burner and surrounding area.

Thank you for your review. If you regularly empty the drip tray, it should prevent spillage but we will keep these comments on board.
