The Roasting Cradle is made up of four baskets that secure to your existing spit shaft to enable you to roast joints of meat, 24-30 chickens, 150 jacket potatoes and more with ease. This allows you to offer a variety of menu options to your customers at events enabling you to be ahead of the crowd.
Think of the Large Hog Roasting oven the same you would as your home oven. When using the cradle a chicken would usually take about 1 hour 30 mins and a jacket potato about an hour or a little more if the machine is well packed.
For pork the rule of thumb is an hour per 10kg so if cooking at an event you are serving at all day like a market or festival, the Roasting Cradle and joints of pork can be beneficial as they will only take about 1 hour 30 mins to cook as opposed to the 6 hours a full pig might take. Additionally you are able to add and take off joints as and when you need them so in quieter hours you can have a little ready then you can prepare for the lunch time rush in advance. Not only this but joints also equal less mess. You don’t have to worry about getting rid of the carcass and joints, being smaller and lighter, are much easier to manoeuvre around.
