Triangle Retainer

Description

Suitable for the Large Hog Roast Oven this is a replacement Triangle Retainer or Handle. These are used either at the end of the spit pole after your meat to aid with lifting the spit in and out of your oven or they can be used to secure the legs. We don’t usually recommended cooking with the legs on as they can get caught if not secured properly and are undesirable to see for customers. Additionally your butcher may keep these to make sausages etc whereas you wouldn’t usually be able to serve these to a guest at an event so they can be more hassle than they are worth. If you are keeping the legs on then they can be secured by placing them inside these Triangle Retainers or by using the ‘W’ Bar Leg Retainers.

If using a static bracket this retainer can be put on the non-pointed end of the spit outside of the oven for manual rotations.

All our Large Hog Roast Retainers are made to fit our cylindrical spit pole which has a 25mm diameter. The hole on this retainer is slightly bigger than this and it is secured in place with an M8 bolt.
